Fleet News Update - November 2018.
Here is November's fleet news update.
Updated December 3rd.
Class 150
150120 is currently at Doncaster for PRM modifications, whilst 150143 is at Crewe for internal refurbishment. 150123 and 150147 have returned from refurbishment.
150272 has returned to Neville Hill after receiving PRM modifications, a repaint and internal refurbishment at Kilmarnock, with 150271 going in the opposite direction.
Class 155
155343 has gone to Kilmarnock for refurbishment following the return of 155342.
Class 156
156427 is currently at Loughborough for refurbishment.
Class 158
158784, 158792 and 158793 have received PRM modifications. 158849 is currently at Crewe for refurbishment to "Northern Connect" specification.
Class 170
170474 and 170478 have been refurbished.
Class 195
195109, 195110 and 195111 are this month's deliveries.
It has been confirmed the additional three Class 195s which were ordered in November are to be three car units, with these due to be numbered 195131-195133.
Class 319
319373 has now entered traffic for Northern, and is on a short term lease to cover for units undergoing conversion to Class 769. 319442 is at Loughborough whilst 319448 is at Wolverton.
Class 331
331105 was delivered at the end of the month.

Fleet News Update - Three More 195s for Northern.
An article posted today on the Railway Gazette website has confirmed Eversholt Rail has ordered a further three Class 195 units for Northern, although at the time of writing, it is not known whether they will be two or three car units.

Fleet News Update - October 2018.
This month, Northern unveiled their new fleet of trains in Liverpool. Class 195/1 unit 195105 was the unit unveiled to the media at Edge Hill.
Class 150
On October 13th, 150214 returned to Newton Heath after being repaint, with 150123 going in the opposite direction after it received PRM modifications and a repaint at Doncaster. 150147 has been repainted.
Class 156
156423 returned from Wolverton on October 31st after being repainted and refurbished.
Class 158
158784 is at Loughborough for PRM modifications. 158790 and 158794 are now PRM compliant.
Class 170
170473 is now in traffic with Northern, whilst 170475 has returned to Neville Hill after being refurbished at Crewe. 170474 and 170478 are currently at Crewe for refurbishment.
Class 195
195107 was delivered on October 26th, whilst 195002 was delivered to Edge Hill by low-loader on October 31st.
Class 319
319361 has received new seat covers, whilst 319450 went to Loughborough on October 5th for conversion to Class 769.
Class 333
333001 is currently undergoing a refurbishment at Holbeck, and is believed to be returning to service during November.
Class 769
769456 arrived at Quorn for testing on October 24th.

Fleet News Update - September 2018.
Welcome to the first Fleet News Update, with September 2018 being an exciting month for Northern. The first Class 195 unit, 195103, commenced dynamic testing on the United Kingdom railway network on September 14th. 195001 and 331001 commenced testing shortly afterwards.
As of this month's update, there are currently two Class 195s and three Class 331s in the United Kingdom, with a number of two car Class 195 body shells recently arriving at CAF's new factory in Llanwern, South Wales.
The first fully refurbished Class 158, 158845, has returned to service. Externally, it has been outshopped in Northern livery, whilst the interior has been fitted with new seating, carpets, WiFi, USB charging points, LED lighting and seat reservation screens. Its first day in service after refurbishment was September 20th.

155342 is currently out of service for PRM mods/refurbishment.
Class 156:
156423 has gone to Loughborough for PRM mods/refurbishment, with 156466 recently being repainted and refurbished.
The five Class 156s due to transfer from ScotRail next year are 156447, 156449, 156465, 156485 and 156496.
Class 158:
158794 is currently away for PRM modifications, whilst 158845 is now back in traffic after going to Crewe for repaint and full refurbishment. 158849 is currently at Crewe for repaint and refurbishment.
Class 170:
Recent arrivals 170459, 170460 and 170461 have been reported as in traffic with Northern, whilst 170474 is at Crewe for repaint and refurbishment. 170472 and 170473 have returned to Neville Hill after being repainted and refurbished.
Class 319:
319373 has transferred to Northern after a refurbishment at Wolverton, meaning all 26 units of this subclass are now with Northern. 319367 has received new seat covers.
319424, 319431 and 319456 are all currently at Brush, with the latter undergoing conversion to Class 769. 319426 is still believed to be at Long Marston whilst 319434's conversion to a bi-mode unit is now complete. It is undergoing testing at the Great Central Railway.
Class 333:
333001 is currently at Holbeck for repaint and refurbishment.
Class 769:
769434 has transferred to the Great Central Railway by low loader for dynamic testing.
